 sports on the radio is an Asbury Park–based band blending modern emo, indie rock, and garage-inspired alt rock into something both intimate and electric. Their songs sit at the intersection of confession and release — equal parts quiet reflection and full-throttle catharsis. 

Fronted by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Chris Cicio, the band channels raw emotion through chunky guitars, thick bass lines, and restless energy that feels both nostalgic and new.

Born out of the DIY spirit of the Asbury scene, sports on the radio isn’t just a band — it’s a community project in motion, driven by collaboration and instinct. They blur the line between the conventional, chasing something looser, more communal, and alive.
